Better messaging on SVN commits

Description

There are a lot of commits to SVN that have no accompanying message or have some generic automated message like "Added items remotely", which is a bit poor and makes it hard to filter commits by plugin name. Can I suggest that we try to use a consistent format for commit messages. I am currently using (for ldap-authentication):

<plugin-name>: <message>

For example see [153].

This helps when filtering commits on some clients.
